Fans and diplomats watch Euro Cup final at United Kingdom embassy – GPS Brasilia

On Sunday (14), the UK Embassy in Brasilia promoted a special event to coincide with the Euro Cup final between England and Spain. The celebration was attended by several ambassadors, including Maria del Mar, Ambassador of Spain; Members of the Spanish Embassy; and other diplomatic representatives such as the Ambassador of the Netherlands. There were also digital influencers and members of the club’s fan club. City of Manchester.

Guests were greeted with a typical British menu of fish and chips, English treats such as Maltesers and English beer, creating an atmosphere of camaraderie and sporting celebration.

Spain beat England 2-1 in the final at the Olympic Stadium in Berlin to secure their fourth European Championship title for the Spaniards. Spain were led by young talents 21-year-old Nico Williams and 17-year-old Lamine Yamal, who gave a real football lesson throughout the tournament.

The match was marked by strong English defense during the first half, but Spain managed to score early in the second half with a goal from Nico Williams. England equalized with a goal from Palmer, but Spain secured victory with a goal from Ouerschabel after an assist from Dani Olmo.

Despite the defeat of the British, the embassy event was a success.
