Portugal have bid farewell to Euro 2024, in what could be Cristiano Ronaldo’s last appearance in Europe’s biggest national team competition.

Behind two records and with many others “in his pocket”, the Portuguese international did not become the oldest player ever to score in European competitions (Modric holds that record) nor did he fail to score in six consecutive European Championships, which also made him a great success (five) himself.
