Euro 2020. Portugal – France Long live the Portuguese national team

Portugal enters the field on Wednesday in a bid to reach the Round of 16 at Euro 2020. The current European champions will face current world champions, France, in a match that will reshape the 2016 European Championship final.

Portugal is close to defeat against Germany, in a match in which it showed several defensive weaknesses. Fernando Santos envisions changes in the starting lineup against France with many stars and very pragmatic football.

A crucial match for the Portuguese’s hopes of continuing to defend the title they won in 2016, focus and effectiveness will be the keys to trying to win. Portugal qualify with a draw and may lose, but the coach confirmed that the three points are in the players’ heads.
