Electric cars don’t charge in the cold? Tesla finds out the hard way

Serious problem when charging this Model S.
This situation happened to Dominic Natty, radio show host.  Your charging attempt was made on Christmas Eve, at minus 7 degrees, and it simply failed for no logical reason.  There have been several attempts, all with the same practical result, not charging the batteries.







With this scenario, the question many had was whether the cold would prevent this car from being charged.  This was the only reason why Tesla's Model S wouldn't charge the batteries, something Tesla didn't explain.

@employee Update: I received several calls today from Tesla Motors.  They have been very accommodating thus far, towing my car the 2 hours to Richmond to the service center at their own expense. Tesla responded to this abnormality with its cars
