This project aims to provide the best healthcare for children, pregnant women, adults and the elderly in Baixo Alentejo with diabetes, but with similar monitoring in other regions of the country. In the case of young people, they will have the opportunity to have an “insulin pump”, the most innovative treatment for those suffering from type 1 diabetes.
This support, according to a press release sent to PlanÃcie, “was unanimously approved at the regular meeting of the Inter-Municipal Council of CIMBAL in March, and all the municipalities of Baixo Alentejo participated in the same way to equip the medical office, nursing office, nutrition and psychology office and waiting room in the diabetes ward ” .
