“We have to be very careful how we communicate this very important aspect of everyone’s life,” says Adelfina Rodriguez, Vice-President of the City Council of Mafra.

“Helping the Portuguese make the best choices, the easiest choices is the big challenge,” says Andre Peralta Santos, Deputy Director-General for Health.

“Looking at the whole plan that has been put in place, I can say that the main challenge is to transfer this knowledge in terms of prevention and health promotion,” says Benvinda Santos, Director of the Directorate of Disease Prevention and Health Promotion Services

“In order for action to take place, each of us must make a contribution,” recalls Luis Lourenço, of the Medicines Association

“We have to start with schools and youth,” advocates Margarida Gaspar de Matos, Professor at ISAMB, University of Lisbon.

“We have to be as close as possible to people and share health information that is really important to them,” emphasizes Miguel Tello de Arriaga, Head of Literacy, Health and Wellbeing at DGS.
