The City of Porto Alegre, through the Municipal Health Administration (SMS), maintained the display of a rapid antigen test for Covid-19 on Sunday, 16, in nine health units, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. In all, 1,346 people received assistance. Of these, 1,048 underwent rapid antigen tests and 471 were positive, corresponding to 44.9% of the total. The busiest spot was the Grief Health Unit, where 274 visits and 222 rapid tests were performed.

Those who had symptoms of COVID-19 (fever, chills, sore throat, cough, headache, runny nose, diarrhea, change in smell, taste, weakness and muscle pain) and patients without positive symptoms were offered the tests. for Covid-19 and without a full vaccination schedule. Prior to testing, they all underwent a clinical evaluation immediately.

A rapid antigen test can be taken on Monday at any of the 133 health units (check addresses here) or on the campus of the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul (UFRGS), located in Rua Sarmiento Lite, 425, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
