Doctor Carlos Eduardo Mosconi resigned and left the Health Department of Poços de Caldas (MG). The professional delivered a letter to Mayor Sergio Azevedo (PSDB) on Thursday (26). He claimed personal problems for leaving the role.
In a call with EPTV Production, which is affiliated with Rede Globo, the now former secretary said he left the role for personal reasons and that “no resounding reason” influenced the decision.
According to the city council, a letter from the health department has reached the mayor. The document, according to the municipal administration, asks for the position to be handed over by Mosconi and also by the assistant secretary, Roslyn Faria.
Also according to the city council, Mosconi highlighted that the goal is to give greater transparency to advisors who investigate potential breaches in health contracts.
The municipal administration revealed that it will comment on the issue after meeting with the trustees.

In accordance with the legal advice of the city council and also the head of the CPI, Sílvio Véio (MDB), the investigation into Carlos Mosconi’s actions continues, even with his departure from office.
Most of the contracts in the sector, according to the press office, were signed by him. Legal counsel also notes that he has not yet been investigated by CPI.
