Bosch Car Multimedia Portugal, in Braga, will end with a “lay-off”, on Monday, after recording a “slight improvement” in some important suppliers, but it does not rule out the possibility of resorting to this mechanism again.

“Bosch has currently seen a slight improvement in some of its most important suppliers, and although it continues to receive less of its needs, it has decided to effectively end its labor law ‘layoffs’ on September 6, 2021,” he noted in a note sent to Lusa, explaining That the workers have already been informed.

On May 10, in Braga, Bosch filed for “lay-off” due to a shortage of semiconductors, ensuring compensation of “85% of gross monthly income” to 2,300 workers covered.

According to the information provided to Lusa, the company does not exclude the possibility of resorting to this mechanism again in the event that the connection of electrical components worsens again.

He stressed that “the management of Bosch Car Multimedia Portugal reaffirms that the projects already opened with major car brands around the world guarantee their sustainability in the future.”
