Bundesliga has announced a broadcasting rights agreement with Sky Sports for the UK and Ireland. The contract was signed for the next four seasons (until 2024/2025) and included the German Super Cup.

Under the agreement, Sky will broadcast the German Championship games on its linear channels and on various digital platforms, with emphasis on matches shown on Saturdays. The partnership aims to create innovative content formats and interactive experiences with the aim of bringing the most popular players of the Bundesliga closer to the British and Irish audience.

The agreement strengthens Sky Sports’ position as the UK’s leading sports entertainment provider and further expands the partnership between the media company and Bundesliga. For many years.

“It is a partnership that will provide the best Bundesliga weekly with world-class production and cross-platform coverage. As Sky is our partner, Bundesliga fans will benefit from the first-class football experience. Robert Klein, CEO of Bundesliga International, said:

“We are delighted to have acquired the Bundesliga rights. Sky Sports customers will have the opportunity to see some of the best teams in Europe and the best players in the world, including the Premier League, the EFL Championship and the FA Women’s Super League, and our World Cup qualifiers in England. This new four-year contract adds the Bundesliga to the supply of live football, ”said Jonathan Litch, managing director of Sky Sports.
