Downing Street reported Sunday that British Prime Minister Boris Johnson and his fianc மனைவிe Gary Symonds were married during a small private ceremony in London on Saturday.
The Prime Minister’s Office has confirmed in the weekend newspapers that the couple got married in front of a small group of friends and family at Westminster Cathedral – according to Kingdom Infectious Diseases United, no more than 30 people can attend a wedding.
Environmental activist Boris Johnson, 56, and Gary Symonds, 33, announced their engagement in February 2020, and a common son, Wilfried, is one year old.
The couple has at least five children from Symonds’ first and Johnson’s third, previous relationships.
The last British Prime Minister was Robert Jenkinson in 1822.
The marriages come a week after Johnson was politically charged, and on Wednesday former aide Dominic Cummings was accused of obstructing the government’s response to the Govt-19 epidemic, saying he was “unfit for work”.
On Friday, an ethics committee hearing revealed that the Prime Minister had acted “irresponsibly” by renovating his residence on Downing Street, eliminating misconduct, without saying where the money came from.
