Microsoft just announced a major update to its Bing Chat search engine. The issue is support for the DALL-E 3 AI model which will significantly improve its ability to create images.
This AI image builder is the same one that ChatGPT is preparing to adopt sometime this month and is only intended for paid users. However, all Bing users can now use this template for free.
Bing Chat improves AI photography by adopting the DALL-E 3 model
The DALL-E 3 prototype has already been tested on Bing Chat in recent weeks, with limited availability for business users. However, from now on it is available to all Microsoft search engine users.
With the adoption of DALL-E 3, Bing will understand user requests more accurately. It will also be easier to use and will be able to deliver more creative and realistic images.
Each image generated by Bing can later be intuitively optimized. After displaying the first result, the user can request to replace some elements or improve certain details.
Through the traditional conversation model with Bing Bhat, users will be able to access the image that best represents their ideas. In fact, it is no longer necessary to restructure the initial command, just add details that can improve the image that the AI generates of the conversation.
Microsoft has clearly implemented some security mechanisms in its new imaging model. First of all, there is an inherent obstacle to generating images that recreate public figures, thus preserving their privacy and good reputation.
Bing Chat is also blocked from creating any images with hate content. It should be noted that all images created using this tool will have a watermark attesting to their creation through the AI mechanism.
Microsoft will be bringing DALL-E 3 to its apps
Microsoft also clarifies that the DALL-E 3 model will not be limited to its AI search engine. Your Paint photo editor will soon have the full potential of this image creation template.
This tool will be known as Paint Cocreator, and as the name suggests, it will be an image creation utility for all its users. There too, users will get the help of this AI model to express their creativity.
Microsoft admits that the early days of DALL-E 3’s availability on Bing Chat may be difficult. So, don’t be surprised if you experience any instability at this initial stage.
