In a letter sent to the city council, Santa Cruz do Sul Community Defense Promoter Erico Barrín expressed support for the bill that would make it mandatory to disclose the schedule and working hours of professionals working in health units. Written by consultant Serginio Moraes (PTB), the proposal states that the information should be displayed “in a place visible and easily accessible to the public, preferably at the reception or in the waiting room”.
In the letter, Barin defends approval of the project and states that the measure is “in line with the transparency and effectiveness of the public service in the health field”, as well as helping to prevent situations previously noted by the Board of Auditors in recent years, due to professionals not being bound by working hours.
