In the 41st minute, the Croatian midfielder put the ball out of Marchesen’s reach and brought back an advantage that Merengues would never give up. Vinicius Junior (56 minutes) extended the score with a Modric pass, and Valverde scored the fourth white goal to close the score.

With this result, Real Madrid joins Betis and Osasuna to be the only teams with six points added. Celta de Vigo only has one point.
