Asus Korea has released the ROG Z790 chipset from the TUF Gaming ProArt series motherboards, matching the 13th generation Intel Core processors.
Asus Z790 motherboard supports DDR5 memory, PCIe® 5.0 graphics and storage slots, Thunderbolt 4, WiFi 6E, Quick Charge 4+ technology and end-to-end connectivity.
ROG Maximus Z790 Apex motherboard has two DIMM slots that can be overclocked up to 8000Mbps.

The ROG Water Cooling Zone is provided for users who want to maintain a lower temperature through a water cooling system. ROG Water-Cooling Zone’s dual flow and temperature heads feed information directly into ROG’s intuitive Fan Xpert 4 utility.
With AI Overclocking, you can tune up your CPU for high performance with just a few clicks. An integrated microcontroller is used to remotely track the temperature and frequency measurement and then pass the data through algorithms to overclock the system.
AI Cooling II monitors the CPU and uses stress test data to calculate the lowest fan speed required to effectively cool the system while keeping noise levels low.
TUF Gaming Z790-Plus WiFi motherboard supports DDR5 memory module. The upgraded power connector on the 8+8 ProCool II and 16+1 DrMOS power stage VRM improves its ability to deliver reliable power while keeping you cool under stress.
It also has an Asus PCIe Slot Q-Release button for easy graphics card removal, although it’s a high-performance option with a thicker cooling solution and a thicker back panel.
With AEMP II, you can easily optimize the DDR5 module for superior performance. Enabling the memory profile with a few clicks in the BIOS results in consistent RAM speeds up to 37.5% faster than the standard DDR5 specification.
It provides three onboard PCIe 4.0 and four M.2 slots and supports an Intel Ethernet 2.5Gbps controller. A range of expandability is provided by a variety of USB ports, including a USB 3.2 Gen 2 x 2 Type-C port on the rear I/O panel.
