a Bloomberg is moving forward with news that Apple is planning to reduce the budget available for producing original series for Apple TV+, and has also started to be more careful when choosing which projects to greenlight.
Despite this intention, Apple remains clearly willing to open the “wallet strings” when it comes to its big exclusives – the salaries of the cast of the fourth season of “The Morning Show” exceeded $50 million (€46 million).
As The Verge notes, it’s hard to know how many people actually watch shows and movies on Apple TV+.
The Cupertino tech company doesn’t share such data about its streaming service, but given that Apple TV+ is still praised for the quality of its series, it’s likely the company doesn’t want to lose that status.
