Royal Ascot, the prestigious annual horse racing event that brings together British high society, kicked off this Tuesday the 20th.It has been extended till Saturday. Royalty was out in force as usual, with an emphasis on King Charles III and Queen Camilla.This continued a tradition followed by Queen Elizabeth II in a religious way.
However, absent from the runway in England’s Berkshire were Prince Harry and Meghan Markle., again outside one of the important events on the royal agenda. This fact did not prevent the name of the dukes of Sussex from “burning ears” after their names were mentioned throughout the day.
“What was talked about in royal circles was how happy everyone was that Meghan and Harry weren’t there.”, a source told ‘Page Six’. “Camilla’s friends say she’s still angry with Harry and Meghan. Camilla told Carlos they made her uncomfortable and that he loves her unconditionally,” the source added.
“Camilla knows not to overdo it because Carlos still loves Harry. Everyone blames Meghan for all the chaos“, the same person insisted, concluding: “At Ascot, it was proved that people love Camilla, and she will not spoil it by communicating with Harry and Meghan.”
