Eight Knights Templar Tombs It was discovered by researcher Edward Spencer Dias at Santa Maria Church in Enville, England. It is estimated that the tombs may be 900 years old. The discovery will shed new light on the origins and history of this mysterious entity.

“England’s Greatest Knight”

The discovery of these tombs raises the possibility that they may have been among the most important Templar churches in England. Edward believes the medieval building may be linked to William Marshall, 1st Earl of Pembroke, Often referred to as “England’s greatest knight”. There is little explanation as to why the village church would contain so many Templar graves, although members of the group are believed to have been linked to churches dedicated to the Virgin Mary.

Each of the graves discovered contains a cross surrounded by two circles. An insignia of the Templars. Additionally, one of the graves displays a Crusader’s cross, symbolizing the individual’s dual affiliation as a member of both the Templar Order and the Crusaders. Also, at the foot of the same tomb is a Templar cross, a variant of the Jerusalem cross, which suggests that the Unknown Knight was sometimes connected to the Templar order on the Temple Mount in Jerusalem.

The Knights Templar were a large order of devout Christians during the Middle Ages. He had an important mission: protecting European travelers visiting places in the Holy Land while conducting military operations. This rich, powerful and mysterious order has fascinated historians and the public for centuries. Stories of his military prowess during the Crusades and his work on behalf of Christianity still permeate modern culture.
