DrAfter many doubted that her face was very swollen and she explained that she had endometriosis, Amy Schumer spoke again about her health.
The 42-year-old comedian revealed that she has been diagnosed with Cushing's disease on Friday's edition of Jessica Yellen's “News Not Noise.”
According to CUF, “The majority of patients with Cushing's disease have small tumors (microadenomas) in the pituitary gland.” They add: “It results from excessive production of the pituitary hormone called ACTH, which in turn causes the adrenal gland to produce cortisol higher than the levels necessary and desired for the body’s normal functioning.”
