About 43,000 passengers were vaccinated against COVID-19 and influenza at metro stations in the last month – Metro

This is a union of forces to ensure an increased vaccination rate

The partnership between the Municipal Secretariat and the São Paulo Metro to ensure that passengers are vaccinated against COVID-19 and influenza, is a joint action to increase the vaccination rate in the city of São Paulo, with the aim of protecting the health of the population and reducing the spread of these diseases.

The Municipal Health Secretariat vaccinated nearly 43,000 travelers by July, the main objective of this initiative is to raise awareness of the importance of vaccination and provide easy and safe access to vaccines in order to create safer and healthier travel environments for all.

Monday (21) to Friday (25), from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. at stations Jabaquara on Line 1-Blue, Sakuma on Line 2-Green, Villa Prudente on Line 15-Silver, Tatuabi, Marechal Deodoro and Repubblica, and Villa Matilda in the red 3 line. At Tucuruvi Station on the 1-Blue Line, the schedule will be from 8 am to 6 pm. At the Palmeiras-Barra Funda station on the 3-Red line, vaccination takes place from 9 am to 4 pm.

On Wednesday (23) and Friday (25), from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m., vaccination takes place at the stations Corinthians-Itaquera on Line 3-Red and São Mateus on Line-15 Silver.

Events supported by Metrô Social with the participation of partner entities and aimed at promoting integration and public health awareness.
