WLShe led a 25-year-old, whose eyes were starting to turn yellow, to believe she had no problem at all and that the tone of her eyes was a reflection of her uniform from IKEA.

After all, Chelsey La Frentz had cancer. The disease was discovered only months later, and the tumor is now in its final stage.

Chelsea started feeling ill and decided to go to the hospital complaining of severe stomach pain. The doctor thought the yellow color of her eyes was just an impression of her, and even said that the young woman would be too young to have cancer.

Subsequent analysis would, eventually, reveal that she had a liver problem, but the final diagnosis would not be known until after Chelsea was in so much pain that she was hospitalized urgently. It was the emergency room doctor who predicted the cancer diagnosis.

According to Chelsey, her body turned yellow due to jaundice because her liver was not detoxing properly.

After she underwent an MRI, she received the news that she had cholangiocarcinoma. The young woman underwent chemotherapy and got better, but the cancer came back and is now on the mend.

“It’s so scary. I’ve been told it’s final and chemotherapy will only extend my life. I try to stay positive. Miracles happen,” she hopes.

Chelsey is now supporting a campaign urging people to go to the doctor for any symptoms similar to those she has experienced, even despite the pandemic.
