ShA group of women complain of being subjected to “discrimination” at a nightclub in Alicante, Spain, after they were kicked out due to their “age”.
The women, aged between 55 and 84, reported the incident to TardeAR last weekend, after a Christmas gathering.
After eating a meal together, the group entered a nightclub in this southern Spanish city, which is famous for its 80s music, but as soon as they entered “a man appeared like a hurricane.” “I didn't want old people like us” in the place, the man told them, after he managed to enter without the institution's guards placing any restrictions.
The group had already visited this place before, so they found the situation strange. Some left the place, but others were keen to file a complaint, due to the “unpleasant” situation.
However, according to the ABC daily, the venue owners have already apologized to those affected, explaining that on that night, the space was managed by a company promoting the event. In exchange, they were offered a place in the space's VIP area, which they accepted, according to ABC, ending the controversy.
