A suspension bridge collapsed on Sunday in the western Indian state of Gujarat and dozens of people fell into the river.

This 230-meter-long bridge was built over the Machu River in Morby during British rule in the 19th century. It was closed for business six months ago and reopened last week.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi has already indicated that rescue teams must be mobilized “urgently” to the site and announced that Victims’ relatives will be compensated.
