Version 6.0 of Vivaldi browser adds workspaces functionality, to group tabs into different sections, and introduces customizable items

Vivaldi Browser arrives at version 6.0 with new features to improve the user’s online experience. The workspace tool creates sections in different tabs to stay focused and organized at work. The customization options allow you to change the theme and icons of the browser interface.
Vivaldi was created by Jon von Tetzchner, the former head of the company behind the browser. opera, and built on top of Chromium. Version 6.0 of the browser is available for desktop and mobile devices.
What’s new in Vivaldi 6.0
Two big news arrived with the new version of Vivaldi for desktop: customizable workspaces and widgets.
Workspaces
Worspaces is a new way to organize your workflow in the browser. With this functionality, the user can group tabs in different work environments and easily switch between these spaces.
It is possible to create, for example, a workspace called “Study” and separate within that area only the tabs dedicated to this activity. When you select a Vivaldi workspace, other windows are hidden to make it easier to focus and be productive in the selected environment.

Different categories can be created to organize activities and workflows in the browser. Workspaces can also be used in conjunction with other features that were already in Vivaldi, such as split screen to display a list of tabs in a list or grid.
Customizable items
Vivaldi 6.0 also offers multiple interface customization options, with permission to change the theme, background, toolbar, icons and buttons – in order to leave the look of the browser entirely to the user’s liking.
Visual changes can be made through the browser settings, in the “Themes” section. In addition to the suggested theme options, the user can upload images to customize the icons and buttons of their choice.
