On Thursday, Friday and Saturday (from 9 to 11 May) the Surgeons’ Association of Veriato organizes the second edition of the Diabetic Foot and Leg Days of the Business Association of the Viseu Region.
The event, which bears the slogan “The latest trends in the treatment of chronic leg and foot ulcers for diabetic patients,” is held in cooperation with the services of the General Surgery, Outpatient Consultation and Diabetes Unit at Viseu Hospital.
According to the organizers, the conferences will present “the latest approaches in the treatment of these diseases, while at the same time providing better communication between primary and differentiated healthcare regarding the topic, updating and training healthcare professionals, physicians, nurses, paediatricians and pharmacists.” “.
Today, the event hosts a theoretical-practical course in which various topics are addressed and with the participation of medical and nursing students. On Friday and Saturday, the program includes round tables with the participation of experts.
