The rabies vaccination campaign for dogs and cats began on Monday (25) in the neighborhoods of Campo de Belem and Ponte. This action is coordinated by the Zoonoses Surveillance Unit (UVZ) and aims to reach all sites in the municipality.
About 50 teams of two vaccinators, made up of endemic disease control agents, visit each household to vaccinate all dogs and cats from three months of age, including healthy pregnant and lactating females.
