In a match with little history, Toulouse did not give a chance against indifferent Nantes (5-1), thus winning the French Cup. Montagnier’s players decided the game before half-time, in an unforgettable display that fans are sure won’t soon forget.

Toulouse took the lead in the fourth minute, as defender Logan Costa responded in the best way to a corner that was executed by Branko van den Bomen. The 22-year-old jumped higher than anyone else and headed to the back of the net, which was being guarded by Alban Lafont.

With this historic victory, Toulouse adds its second Coupe de France in its history, after the conquest in 1956/1957.
