The campaign for more vaccinations will be launched in Cachoeira do Sul on Saturday (07/09), when the Municipal Health Department will assemble another task force in favor of immunization.

The Mays Vaccine Campaign will be launched from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., in the three largest health units of the core network (EAP Central/INSS, EAP Centro Social Urbano, and EAP Marina), and will mobilize a team of approximately 30 health workers. This is another multi-vaccination event, through which routine vaccinations against Covid-19 and influenza/influenza will be offered to all concerned audiences. “The country is regressing in immunization against diseases that have been eliminated until then, such as polio, and noticing the increase in rates of other diseases such as measles. Therefore, the main focus for Saturday will be on updating the children’s vaccination schedule”, highlights the Minister of Health, Marcelo Figuero, A special appeal to parents: “We reserve a different day and time to protect the little ones.”

Saturday Service (07/09)

10 a.m. to 4 p.m. – EAP Central/INSS Building, EAP Centro Social Urbano/US4, and EAP Marina/US14

* Vaccination against COVID-19

* Influenza/influenza vaccination

* Routine vaccination (mainly updated children’s calendar): BCG, rotavirus, hepatitis A and B, Penta, yellow fever, trivirus, polio, among others.
