The UK Foreign Office has updated its travel advice for people traveling to Portugal – warning of possible disruption in April.

First notice of union action by Portuguese immigration officers The Liverpool Echo reported. Travel may be disrupted from April 6 to 10.

Information about forest fires and the use of masks and safety on Madeira’s beaches has also been changed. When traveling in Portugal, it is important to be aware that some places still have coronavirus restrictions in place.

In Madeira, the Regional Health Commission recommends the use of a mask in medical institutions, pensions and nursing homes if you are diagnosed with a respiratory illness. Most restrictions have been lifted in the Azores, but masks are still mandatory when visiting medical centers, boarding houses and nursing homes.

This activity is not recommended for children under 10 years of age. Dry, hot climates are also prone to wildfires.

Some parts of the country are already classified as high risk. Finally, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs reminded people about the dangers of beaches and swimming.

Every year there are drowning deaths on Portuguese beaches and swimming pools. Resort goers should check the warning flags before entering the sea.

A red flag indicates danger: do not enter the water. Yellow Flag Warning: You can walk on water, but you can’t swim.
