Rumors about Samsung’s future foldable devices continue to surface online, and the latest rumors now point to some new features that may be present in its cameras.
According to new rumors, the Galaxy Z Flip 6 could feature an improved main camera sensor, up to 50MP. This is an improvement over the Galaxy Z Flip 5, which had a 12MP sensor, which, while lower in resolution, has a much more significant processing on the final content.
However, the high-resolution sensor allows you to capture more detail in the content, which helps improve the final quality of the images, which is also combined with software processing – which Samsung has invested heavily in and also integrated AI into doing so.
The leaker Ishan Agarwal X suggests that the Z Flip 6 could be one of the first phones to feature this sensor improvement, in addition to a 12MP ultrawide lens. These two cameras should be located next to the device’s external display, taking up a large portion of its body.
In addition to this change, the leak also suggests that the new devices should feature a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor, and 12GB of total RAM, which would make sense considering the rumors known about it so far.
The internal screen should be 6.7 inches with a 120Hz refresh rate, in addition to adding a 4000 mAh battery and supporting wireless charging.
