The redevelopment of Anadia Health Center has been completed

Anadia Health Center services are already operational in the “new” facilities. The building underwent extensive interventions, with investments exceeding one million and 200 thousand euros. The aim was to address some of the construction diseases, in order to significantly improve the operating and comfort conditions of this health equipment, and to provide it with modern and practical means, allowing access to primary health care of higher quality and adapted to new requirements.

On the other hand, the restructuring also aims to create the physical conditions for the establishment of the USF Family Health Unit, in addition to an office dedicated to oral health and another for physical therapy, equipped with the necessary equipment for its proper operation.

In addition to the reorganization and adaptation of some spaces, the installation of the electricity and water supply network was also redesigned, as well as the replacement of all air conditioning and ventilation equipment. Regarding hot water, a solar heating system supported by a wall-mounted boiler has been designed. A photovoltaic park containing 42 solar panels has been created, and the infrastructure has been created to install six electric vehicle charging stations (4 public and 2 private stations), with electricity supply, as well as utilizing energy from the photovoltaic park, reducing the environmental impact.

External areas were also the target of the intervention, specifically the rehabilitation of deteriorated sidewalks, related to vehicular traffic and pedestrian circulation areas, the construction of new sidewalks, the rehabilitation of fencing and ground support walls and the installation of new horizontal and vertical signage. Vehicle traffic routes.

It must be remembered that during the period in which the rehabilitation works were carried out, the services of the Anadia Health Center were installed in the former Anadia High School, and for this purpose the municipality created the necessary conditions for easy access and adaptation to its advantage. The operation involved an investment of about 450 thousand euros.
