The controversy surrounding James Corden and Balthazar is far from over. The comedian was accused of behaving inappropriately at this famous New York establishment, but in his first reaction to the case, Corden said he “did nothing wrong.”
Keith McNally, owner of Balthazar restaurant, has already taken to social media to denounce the situation and later forgive the comedian, but now appears to be angry again after these recent public figure statements.
Keith wrote on Instagram, “I don’t want to disappoint a man when he’s already down. Especially one that’s worth $100 million, but when James Corden told the New York Times he did absolutely nothing wrong.” , “Was he joking? Or does he deny that he was mistreating my employees? Whatever Corden intended, his implication was clear: He didn’t.”
McNally went so far as to say he believed the word of the people working with him who denounced Corden’s positions, that’s because they “had nothing to gain from lying”.
He finally noted that “if he takes it one step further and apologizes to the two employees he insulted, I will let him eat free at Balthazar for the next 10 years.”
It is important to remember that James Corden has been accused of being aggressive on more than one occasion with the “staff” of this restaurant.
