The Municipal Health Conference elects 20 delegates to the state stage

The ninth edition of the João Pessoa Municipal Health Conference concluded on Thursday afternoon (30). During the event, the main guidelines and proposals aimed at public policies and social control in the metropolitan health network were defined, as well as the selection of 20 delegates who should participate in the 10th state health congress, which will be held on May 24, 25 and 26 this year.

According to María Marquez, President of the Municipal Health Council of João Pessoa (CMS-JP), the 9th Municipal Health Congress was a very important milestone for the health of the capital of Paraíba and with many proposals.

“We are living a new moment in Brazil and this is directly reflected in the decisions that we make. After the conferences of the region, we have been here presenting new experiences, integrative medicine, rare diseases, the office on the street, and make sure that we will hand over the document both to the health secretariat and also to Mayor Joao Pessoa and the councilors say in them the health we want and what we can improve, focusing on our needs and improvements in the service provided to the population.

delegates – At the end of the ninth edition of the Joao Pessoa Municipal Health Conference, 20 delegates were selected to participate in the State Conference in May. Of this total, 10 (50%) are from the SUS user group, 05 (25%) are part of the health workers group and another 05 (25%) are members of the health department.
