On Friday afternoon (10), the Municipal Health Department of João Pessoa (SMS-JP) started a training course for doctors working in primary care. The topic is related to outpatient clinic organization flows and protocols.
The first meeting was held at the Jaguaribe Municipal Dispensary. The next sessions will be weekly during the month of November. This activity is implemented through a partnership between the Department of Regulation (DR) and the Department of Healthcare (DAS).
“Our training will show that correct referral to various medical specialties and very complex examinations are of fundamental importance for the population to have full access to health care,” explained Gabriela Azevedo, Director of Municipal Organization of João Pessoa.
According to the regulation, the qualification of medical professionals aims to increase the possibility of healthcare solution, and it is also important to qualify access to specialized care, making the municipal regulation work with risk classification, ensuring access to SUS users at the right time, situation and place.
