At the meeting, statements were presented from several services carried out in the municipality; The public hearing was at City Hall on Friday (30/09).

On Friday (30/09), the Bois Department of Health participated in the public hearing of the city council to present the accounts for the second quarter of 2022. During the meeting, Secretary Alexander Prof., along with his technical team, presented the data from the services provided in the municipality.

According to the figures provided, in the second quarter of this year, 67,150 consultations were carried out in the municipal emergency service in Gedo Gedo, between consultations in clinical, pediatrics and influenza syndrome and 169,919 diagnostic services, such as rapid tests for Covid-19. And exams X-rays.

The person in charge of the volume highlighted the importance of these figures and highlighted the municipality’s telemedicine service. The numbers released represent the efforts of all health professionals, from basic to highly complex care. We expect to increase the number of consultations and diagnostic services, and for that, we are using a new tool, telemedicine, where in this second quarter alone we have attended 230 patients. Fortunately, residents agreed and committed to this new type of care, ensuring a more skilled diagnosis and greater agility at referral,” he said.

The public hearing was attended by Counselors Saulo Teixeira Alberto da Costa and Patricia Ben de Sousa Sánchez (chairman and secretary of the Legislative Health Committee, respectively), as well as Counsel Edvaldo José Gonçalves.
