Thales and Schiebel successfully conduct factory acceptance testing for UK MoD Peregrine program – Air and Naval Defence

Thales and Scheibel are pleased to announce the successful completion of the Factory Acceptance Test (FAT). Pilgrimage Program From the UK Ministry of Defense (MoD). FAT represents a major milestone in program development, an important step towards the final delivery of a state-of-the-art system CAMCOPTER® S-100 UAS PeregrineA revolutionary rotary-wing unmanned aerial system (UAS) aimed at providing ‘eyes in the sky’ protection to Royal Navy warships.

During the testing phase, Thales and Scheibel demonstrated the Peregrine’s exceptional capabilities for specific needs. The results were excellent, highlighting the firm adherence to the project schedule and the unwavering commitment to excellence of both companies.

With FAT approval, the Peregrine program is ready to begin its first deliveries, marking an important step in strengthening the UK MoD’s operational capabilities. Innovative technologies built into the CAMCOPTER® S-100, such as radar Thales i-MasterThe Royal Navy is poised to take reconnaissance, surveillance and intelligence gathering to higher levels.

And, in a parallel development, the Royal Navy is preparing to begin its extensive operator and maintainer training on the Schiebel Camcopter ® S-100. This training will equip Royal Navy personnel with greater UAS knowledge, ensuring seamless integration and optimal use of this state-of-the-art system.
