The first new generation aircraft of TAAG Angola Airlines is already ready at the Airbus factory in Canada. The aircraft is an A220-300 and will be the first new generation to be integrated by TAAG, which currently operates Dash 8-Q400 turboprops, first generation Boeing 737 NG and 777 aircraft.

The aircraft was spotted at the Airbus factory in Mirabel, Quebec, where the main assembly line for the A220, formerly known as the CSeries from Bombardier, is located.

Still without Wings At the wingtip, the A220-300 has an endplate, but it is different from the one currently used by TAAG and which was presented in Airbus’s forecast, when the agreement for 10 aircraft of the type was announced, and which has also already been stamped on some of the company’s 737s and Q400 turboprops.

This new livery does not have the stripes projecting across the fuselage, but rather it is a gradient from the tail to the rear of the aircraft. At the front, instead of the words TAAG which will be in light grey, the Angolan Airlines logo is in black and on the windows. As for the engines, the grey has been replaced with red.
