Since the beginning of May, the vaccine has been available to all residents over a 6-month period in Santa Catarina. The priority audience was 3 million people, but only 1.4 million have been vaccinated.

The recommendation is still to go to the nearest health unit to get vaccinated, and to do so as quickly as possible, as full immunization does not come until two to three weeks after taking the dose.

Children who are getting the vaccine for the first time should take two doses, 30 days apart. The influenza vaccine dose can be given with other vaccines listed in the national vaccination calendar, except for the influenza vaccine. Dengue fever. The recommended interval between influenza and dengue doses is 24 hours.

Another below-target vaccine is dengue, which is available in three regions of the state (North-East, Medio Valle de Itajaí, and Greater Florianópolis) for children aged 10 to 14 years. Only 23.89% of Target audience for vaccination Against dengue fever received the vaccine in Santa Catarina. The goal recommended by the Ministry of Health is to vaccinate at least 90% of the public.
