a Samsung Committed to reducing the forced closing of apps running in the background in One UI 6.0 based on Android 14. The decision came after the South Korean company worked with Google.

One of Google’s goals as of Android 14 is to “make it easier for developers to build apps that work consistently across different Android devices,” and that should directly impact the limitations of app usage.

This action is to try to end a complaint from Android app developers (and end users) about “limitations on services provided and background work” between devices.

The point is that theSome manufacturers are very aggressive in killing background apps to save battery life. This can lead to app crashes and end users blame developers for bad software experience.

These app developers do indeed follow Android guidelines, but bypassing every limitation/conflict of the various OEMs is not feasible or even feasible. Google addresses this in Android 14 and will bring Samsung on board.

The South Korean brand is described as the “first partner” to make “services provided for apps targeting Android 14 work as expected, as long as they are built according to the new Android API policy.”

Please note Android 14 is still under development and testingIt will be released to the public in the second half of this year.
