Samsung continues to expand Galaxy AI to include more languages. It announced in the past few hours that it will now support Arabic, Indonesian, and Russian languages. What's more, it's now available in three new dialects: Australian English and Canadian French.
These languages join the 13 existing languages, which include, for example, Brazilian Portuguese. But what about Portuguese from Portugal? In the same statement, Samsung confirms that it plans to launch this function in Romanian, Turkish, Dutch, Swedish, traditional French and European Portuguese in 2024.
This is a possibility that was already raised by the brand itself, when the Galaxy S24 was launched in Portugal, at the beginning of this year. But it is now certain that we will have AI functionality in European Portuguese by the end of the year. But what are they? Check below.

- Conversation assistant: It can help improve the tone of a conversation by creating context-based suggestions to ensure communication sounds as expected, whether it's a polite message to a co-worker or a short, catchy phrase for a social media caption.
- Class assistant: You can create AI-generated summaries, templates, and pre-formatted covers, increasing your daily productivity.
- Transcription assistant: It uses artificial intelligence and speech-to-text technology to transcribe, summarize, and even translate audio recordings.
- Navigation assistant: Helps you stay informed about what's happening in the world while saving time by creating concise summaries of news articles or web pages.
These features will be available for download in the language pack available in the Settings app on compatible Samsung devices. Remember that in addition to the Galaxy S24, the Galaxy 23, Flip 5, Fold 5 and S9 Tab will also have Portuguese-language AI features.
