Bernardo Sousa reacted to the warnings of Cifrão, judge of TVI's “Dança com as Estrelas” program, who asked the audience to “grant the best dancers and the best competitors who dance.”
Speaking to RFM on Thursday the 25th, Bernardo began by saying that he had not heard the statements made by Cifrão on social media.
“He sent it to the public, it wasn't for me. Obviously I was the first one to say I don't know how to dance. Considering that he has a dance school for regular people, like me, who want to dance one day – obviously this is a format and a TV show -, the school is basically for people like me who don't know how to dance“, he began to justify.
“If the audience continues to vote, and has an active voice in the program, in the votes, I think I can go a little further. But I also wouldn't want to continue there if I wasn't wanted by the public and the judges. He confirmed.
Bernardo was severely criticized for his performance on the talent show. But the public vote kept the contestant on the program. Therefore, when Sevrão warned the public not to vote for the best competitors, it seemed that the criticism was directed at the Madeiran driver. He pointed out, “Always remember that this is a dance program, and we must favor the best dancers and the best competitors who dance.”
