With a focus on the environment, the new store will feature reusable eco-friendly mesh bags and carts and an eco-friendly filtered water refilling station. Customers can also bring their own packaging and boxes to use for canned foods or take-aways, for example.
As part of Pingo Doce's social responsibility policy, the Viseu – S. João da Carreira store will support the local community by donating food to the REFOOD and ACREDITA (Associação de Solidariedade Social Culture Recreativa e Desportiva de Travassós de Baixo) foundations that support more than 500 people in need in the municipality. every day.
