Olivia Palermo is one of the biggest influencers on Instagram, with over 8.1 million followers. The 37-year-old started gaining fame in 2008, after participating in the MTV reality show, ‘The City’. Since then, he has appeared in several other projects, such as ‘Project Runway’, ‘Britain’s Next Top Model’ and ‘Gossip Girl’. And besides all this, he created a clothing brand of the same name.
The influencer is also a huge fan of Portugal. In 2022, for example, she went to Milan Fashion Week with a ring and necklace from the patriotic brand Hey Harper. And now, in August of this year, she is vacationing in Comporta with her husband, Johannes Huebel, a model and photographer.
The couple stayed at the Quinta da Comporta Welness Boutique Resort, which opened in 2019. The space is synonymous with pure luxury, because it’s not part of the Small Luxury Hotels of the World collection’s catalog.
The development was contemplated and designed by architect Miguel Cancio Martins, and combines in one space two styles that are currently in demand: rustic and minimalist. To match the natural look of the area, natural wood tones and sand-colored furniture dominate, blending in with the rice fields and palm trees that surround the resort. You do not need to leave to enjoy the entertainment, as it includes a cinema room and a spa.
But of course it is not possible to spend a holiday in Comporta without going to the beach. With this in mind, the property offers a shuttle service to Carvalhal Beach, a few kilometers from the village.
Quinta da Comporta has 73 rooms. The types are divided into double, deluxe, master, junior suite, duplex suites and villas, which include a private pool and a personal butler for the guests, who is always ready to assist with any request (within reason of course). In the month of August, one night for two people in a deluxe room costs From 473 euros.
About four kilometers from the hotel you can also find JNcQUOI Beach Club. The group’s restaurant opened on August 5th and has already become a must-see for many tourists.
