Hanover,  Agricultural machinery manufacturer New Holland has strengthened its position as a leader in innovation after securing the ‘Best Specialized’ title at the Tractor of the Year 2026 (TOTY) awards for its T4.120F Auto Command model.

The award was announced during a ceremony at Agritechnica in Hanover, Germany, the world’s largest agricultural trade fair and a key event for showcasing the sector’s most advanced technology. The TOTY awards are judged by a panel of leading European agricultural journalists who evaluate tractors on performance, innovation, and contribution to modern farming efficiency.

Industry Recognition for Innovation

The recognition marks another milestone for CNH Industrial (NYSE: CNH), the parent company of New Holland. Speaking after the win, Gerrit Marx, Chief Executive Officer at CNH, said:

“We are delighted to see our product excellence once again recognized by the Tractor of the Year jury. Our machines provide the latest in advanced technology designed to make farmers more productive and profitable. And we’re thrilled to showcase what’s next for CNH at our Tech Day, live from Agritechnica on November 11.”

The T4.120F Auto Command impressed judges with its focus on precision, comfort, and versatility for specialist operations. The tractor introduces Auto Command™ Continuously Variable Transmission (CVT) technology featuring a 50 kph ECO mode—a first for the specialty tractor segment. This development represents a significant advancement for farmers operating in vineyards, orchards, and fruit farms, where narrow tractors are essential for efficiency in confined environments.

A Step Forward in Specialty Tractor Design

The new T4.120F is the final addition to New Holland’s specialist range, completing the company’s offering in this niche but vital market. Designed with both productivity and operator comfort in mind, the model integrates advanced controls and ergonomic improvements aimed at reducing fatigue and improving performance during long working hours.

According to New Holland, the tractor is “packed with high-end specifications that are unique to narrow tractors,” reinforcing the brand’s ongoing focus on operator experience, fuel efficiency, and technology integration.

CNH Industrial: A Global Technology Powerhouse

The award highlights CNH’s continued investment in agricultural innovation and sustainability. The company, which operates under the guiding principle of “Breaking New Ground”, provides machinery and technology solutions across agriculture and construction sectors through its global brands including Case IH, New Holland Agriculture, CASE Construction, and New Holland Construction.

CNH also operates regionally focused brands such as STEYR for agricultural tractors; Raven for digital agriculture and autonomous systems; Hemisphere, a leader in high-precision satellite positioning technology; and Eurocomach, a producer of compact excavators including electric models. Collectively, these brands reflect CNH’s broad commitment to innovation, efficiency, and environmental responsibility.

The company employs more than 35,000 people worldwide, fostering a diverse and inclusive workforce dedicated to enabling customer success and advancing sustainable practices in global farming and construction.

Looking Ahead

Visitors to Agritechnica can explore CNH’s latest developments at Hall 3, Stand 03B21, where its brands and technology areas are on display. The company will also host its Tech Day live event from Agritechnica on 11 November at 8:00 am ET, accessible via bit.ly/CNHtechday2025_Live.

For CNH, the Tractor of the Year recognition underscores its leadership in developing practical, cutting-edge solutions for modern agriculture—reinforcing the company’s commitment to empowering farmers through technology and design.
