After the winter break, MotoGP returns this weekend for the first race of the year. From Friday through Sunday, the Autodromo Internacional do Algarve will host various motorcycling classes for the Portuguese Grand Prix.

In 2022 Francesco Bagnaia becomes the MotoGP World Champion with a 17-point lead over Fabio Quartararo. In Moto3, Izan Guevara celebrated with the title, as Augusto Fernandez imposed himself in Moto2.

In terms of schedules, MotoGP will have some adjustments for the weekend. Nothing changes on Friday, with regular training sessions taking place. Moto3 will be the start of the festivities, Moto2 will follow, and finally MotoGP. The action starts on the track Friday at 9:00am, with free Moto3 practice. The last session of the day (Moto2 T2) starts at 15:10 and ends at 16:00.

On Saturday, more practice takes place, as well as a qualifying race as well as a MotoGP race. Moto3 qualifying starts at 10:10am, Moto3 qualifying at 12:50pm, and Moto2 qualifying at 1:45pm. The race starts at 3pm on Saturday. Sunday is race day, but before that we will have a moto warm-up, starting at 9:45 am. Races are held at 11:00 AM (Moto3), 12:15 PM (Moto2) and 2:00 PM (MotoGP).
