A 28-year-old man was able to send the audio to his family before his cell phone went off

A young woman who went missing in the Teatre nightclub fire in Murcia sent a voice message to her mother’s phone to say goodbye. According to the the worldIt was the 28-year-old’s father who told the press that his daughter had sent a message to her family at 6am – the time when the fire alarm was sounded in the nightlife district of Las Atalaia, on the outskirts of Murcia.

“Send us an audio recording to say goodbye,” The victim’s father, who spoke to the press, according to El Mundo newspaper, revealed his clear nervousness. The man also said that in the audio recording you can hear screaming and people asking for lights to be able to see inside the club. The young woman says: “Mom, I love you, we are going to die.” After sending the message, the victim’s cell phone turned off and did not send any signal again.

The family says that the young woman, born in Caravaca de la Cruz, in the municipality of Murcia, went out with her friends to this nightlife area, because “there are no clubs in Caravaca.” “This was his second time coming,” his father said.

Let us remember that the fire in the “Teater” nightclub, in the Atalaia district, in Murcia, broke out at six in the morning on Sunday – an hour less than in Lisbon – and left, according to the latest information, at least 13 people dead.

According to the mayor of Murcia, the bodies were found on the first floor of the nightclub. The fire has spread to two other nightlife establishments, and one location, which Mayor Jose Ballesta did not want to identify, is at risk of collapse.
