Microsoft is changing the way Windows 11 can be reinstalled while retaining data

Microsoft seeks at all costs to make Windows 11 a perfect system with the tools that users need. To achieve this, apart from the system itself, it has optimized existing applications and even all settings on your system. Now, Microsoft is testing another new feature, which promises to change the way Windows 11 is reinstalled in case of problems, while preserving data.

One of the simplest solutions to solve problems in Windows 11 and other versions is to reinstall the operating system.  Microsoft has a simple way to do this, but it involves deleting existing user data in the operating system.
This is not always the desired path, especially since it requires making backup copies, which must be restored later.  Something that was supposed to be simple ends up becoming complicated and time consuming for a Windows 11 user.







To further simplify this process, and eliminate some unintended steps, Microsoft is now testing an important new feature.  This is the expected and intended way to reinstall Windows 11 in case of problems, while preserving user data.

This new feature is called "Fix problems with Windows Update" and uses Microsoft's own update system to be able to reinstall Windows 11. Within minutes, it will attempt to download and apply the version of Windows 11 installed at that moment. 
In the end, what is done in this process is that the program is repaired without changing the remaining files and without users having to wait for a long time for the process to complete.  Although it is an efficient process, Microsoft recommends that you back up user data before use.
It is important to note that all other methods to reinstall Windows 11 will still exist.  Microsoft could introduce this new feature as early as February 2024, when it releases the next major update to its system, with several new features.
