Microsoft has announced a new 10-year partnership for Activision Blizzard Games if the publisher’s acquisition is approved by regulators.
This time, a deal has been struck with EE, a telecommunications and internet company in the United Kingdom, and will bring Activision Blizzard games to users of this network.
“Microsoft and EE are expanding their 10-year partnership in cloud gaming, bringing PC games to EE customers through Activision Blizzard and Xbox after their acquisitions,” said Bill Spencer.
“We’re committed to bringing more games to more people, no matter how they want to play,” concluded the head of the Xbox division.
So far, Microsoft has signed several agreements of this kind. One of them is with Nintendo and guarantees that Call of Duty games will be released on the Japanese company’s consoles.
One of Microsoft’s biggest hurdles to buying Activision Blizzard was the UK CMA. However, the regulator changed its mind.
The EU’s position remains to be seen by April 25.
