Logitech MX Mechanical Review – Master Series Mechanical Keyboard

Logitech MX Keys is one of the best productivity keyboards of the past couple of years, offering a powerful feature set and a very modern design. However, Logitech seems to be trying to improve its performance even further, combining the same features with the powers of mechanical switches in the new Logitech MX Mechanical Wireless Keyboard, simple, with a slightly different typing experience.

After two weeks of use, today we present our review of Logitech’s MX Mechanical.

A week ago we gave an analysis of MX Master 3S from Logitech.  But this is not the only product in the Master line of this giant.  MX Mechanical comes together to create an elegant blend that promises productivity.

Dimensions
Logitech MX Mechanical is a medium sized keyboard.  It measures 2.7 cm in height, 43.4 cm in width and 13.2 cm in depth, and weighs approximately 0.83 kg.  It should also be noted that it doesn't have a wrist rest, so the depth is just the keyboard itself.
Despite this, it does not take up much space on the counter.  However, if you prefer something smaller, you can purchase a compact version of the keyboard called the Logitech MX Mechanical Mini.



				
			



				
			




Logitech MX mechanical design
The Logitech MX Mechanical has a very eye-catching look, with two-tone gray switches, ensuring that it fits well in both an office and home environment.
In addition to It has excellent build quality.🇧🇷 The top plate is made of aluminum, while the body is hard plastic, so the plate has no flexibility.  The keys are ABS with a soft coating that adds extra grip, which is great because ABS keys are prone to slipping due to oil from your fingers.
The keys are glowing, which means you can see the backlighting in the dark.  The internal stabilizers provide a good hold, so there it is Very little wiggle in the main keys🇧🇷



				
			



				
			



At the top right of the keyboard are the charging port and the on/off button.  On the bottom of the keyboard is a long rubber strip that does a good job of keeping it in place, and there are two smaller strips on the bottom of each "feet".
Logitech's Mechanical MX has good ergonomics.  Since it is a relatively low keyboard, you can use it comfortably. No wrist rest, though Logitech does offer one for purchase if you wish.  It also has tilt, if you need it (minimum tilt 3.5 degrees, maximum tilt 8 degrees).










				
			



				
			




writing experience
Logitech MX Mechanical offers a good typing experience.  The ABS keys have a soft surface that adds a bit of grip and feels good at your fingertips.  the keys themselves are stable, Although the larger ones are a little more wobbly🇧🇷 However, it is not noticeable during use.
Because of the flat keys, these keys feel closer together than regular keyboards, but not enough to feel cramped.  This keyboard offers a tactile feel that doesn't feel harsh or stiff, so pressing the keys is smooth all the time.
All in all, this keyboard will give you a pleasant typing experience.  If you use a high keyboard, you may notice that your typing speed is a bit slower at first as you get used to it.  You are unlikely to experience any wrist or finger fatigue during extended periods of use.

MX Cordless Mechanical Versatility
Logitech MX Mechanical is very versatile in its wireless connectivity options.  It comes with a BOLT receiver, which connects to select Logitech devices, so everything you need is there One receiver for multiple devices🇧🇷

When using it with your receiver, you can even pair it with up to two other devices using Bluetooth.  You should also note that this keyboard Not compatible with Logitech Unifying Receiver It only works with BOLT receivers.  Logitech claims that the battery lasts up to 15 days when used with the backlight on and up to 10 months with the backlight off.

Logitech MX Mechanical has excellent backlighting, but it only comes in white.  It has a built-in sensor that turns the backlight on when your hand is closed and off when you move away from the keyboard to conserve battery power.
The keys are bright, which means you can type in a dark environment.  Although light effects are available, None of them can be programmed or customized🇧🇷



				
			



				
			




Logitech Options +
This keyboard uses software Sign-in options +, which is very similar to Logitech's options, but features an updated interface that's cleaner and simpler.  You can use the program to create app-specific profiles, so your settings will be different for different apps.
Although this keyboard has no internal memory, it can back up its settings to the cloud and sync them across devices.  Unfortunately, Macros cannot be programmed, and its customization is limited to a list of commands.  Also, you can't reprogram every key;  Instead, it is limited to the function line and part of the navigation group.


MX Mechanical Referee
for games
Although the Logitech MX Mechanical is not meant for gaming, it delivers very good performance for this use.  Overall, it's well-built and comfortable, and the white-only backlighting makes the keys easy to read in the dark.  However, the latency is low for casual games only, and macros cannot be programmed, since the customization software is very limited.
for productivity
This keyboard is very good for office use and productivity.  Thanks to the drop, it is comfortable to type for long periods of time, even without a wrist rest.  The build quality is solid, and you can connect it wirelessly to its USB receiver or via Bluetooth, and it pairs with up to three devices.  Despite being fully compatible with Windows, some buttons don't work as intended on MacOS and Linux.
