Vaccination against coronavirus is carried out in the Basic Health Unit (UBS) Abilio Pedro, for children between the ages of 5 and 11, and at UBS Hipólito 1, for those over 12 years old. Influenza vaccination will be available at UBSs Aeroporto and Morro Azul.

The Ministry of Health confirms that, for children to be vaccinated against Covid-19, children must be accompanied by their parents or guardians with CPF (for children and adults), SUS card, proof of residence, vaccination card, consent period (Available on the city’s website).

In units intended to immunize people over 12 years of age, it will be possible to take the first dose – for those who have not yet taken it – or even the second or additional doses. In this case, it is necessary to provide personal documents and proof of vaccination.

To get the flu vaccine, which is available to people over 60 and health professionals over 40, a CPF, immunization card, and SUS card are required. The Minister of Health notes that it is not necessary to wait for a period between the Covid-19 vaccine and the flu vaccine.

In addition to vaccination against Covid-19 and influenza, the Ministry of Health will strengthen the duty of routine immunization. In this case, UBS Cecap will be open from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. for children and adults to update their vaccination schedule. Residents should have their vaccination card and photo document on hand to expedite vaccination procedures.
